- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in line with industry standards and government regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace, and recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all employees are trained on health, safety, and environmental protocols and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze health and safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address them.
- Stay up-to-date with industry and regulatory changes related to health, safety, and environmental practices, and communicate any updates or changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct investigations into workplace incidents and accidents, and provide recommendations for preventing similar occurrences in the future.
- Manage and maintain safety equipment and supplies, and ensure that they are readily available and in good working condition.
- Lead emergency preparedness drills and develop emergency response plans to ensure the safety of all employees.
- Collaborate with external agencies, such as OSHA and EPA, to ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on health, safety, and environmental issues and concerns.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the use of safe and environmentally-friendly products and materials.
- Prepare and submit reports to management and regulatory agencies on health, safety, and environmental performance.
- Identify and implement initiatives to promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness and responsibility among employees.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance health, safety, and environmental practices and policies.
- Act as a resource and point of contact for all health, safety, and environmental-related inquiries and concerns from employees.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Local And Federal Health, Safety, And Environmental Regulations And Standards.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Health, Safety, And Environmental Policies And Procedures.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Health, Safety, And Environmental Procedures.
