• Develop and lead the global oncology strategy for Novartis, in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives
• Oversee the execution of global programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Provide strategic direction and guidance to cross-functional teams, including R&D, commercial, and medical affairs, to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts
• Lead and mentor a team of talented individuals, providing them with support, guidance, and opportunities for growth and development
• Stay informed and up-to-date on the latest developments and trends in the field of oncology, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organization
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including key opinion leaders, patient advocacy groups, and healthcare professionals, to gather insights and drive consensus on strategic initiatives
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and other relevant factors to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure consistency and alignment of global programs with local needs and regulatory requirements
• Represent Novartis and our oncology programs at external events, conferences, and meetings, and effectively communicate our vision and objectives to a diverse audience
