  1. Develop and implement the overall strategy for the Neuroscience program, in alignment with the company's vision and goals.
  2. Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of clinical trials, regulatory submissions, and other activities related to the program.
  3. Monitor and track the progress of the program, identifying and addressing any potential issues or roadblocks that may arise.
  4. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and thought leaders in the field of neuroscience, to drive the program forward.
  5. Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and trends in the neuroscience landscape, and incorporate this knowledge into the program strategy and decision-making.
  6. Provide direction and guidance to the team to ensure the program is executed in compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.
  7. Analyze data and make informed decisions on the direction of the program, based on scientific evidence and business objectives.
  8. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the program, encouraging new ideas and approaches to drive progress and achieve success.
  9. Act as a key spokesperson for the program, representing Novartis at conferences, meetings, and other events to showcase our commitment to neuroscience research and development.
  10. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and external partners to support the advancement of the program.
  11. Monitor and manage the budget for the program, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve key milestones and objectives.
  12. Mentor and develop team members, providing feedback and guidance to support their growth and development within the company.
  13. Conduct regular evaluations and risk assessments of the program, proactively identifying and addressing any potential risks or challenges.
  14. Communicate regularly with senior leadership and stakeholders, providing updates on the progress and performance of the program.
  15. Uphold Novartis' values and ethical standards in all interactions and decisions related to the Neuroscience program.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Neuroscience Or Related Field: A Global Program Head For Neuroscience At Novartis Should Possess A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Neuroscience Or A Related Field Such As Pharmacology, Biology, Or Medicine. This Level Of Education Ensures A Solid Foundation In Understanding The Complexities Of The Nervous System And The Ability To Apply This Knowledge In Drug Discovery And Development.

  • Extensive Experience In Drug Development: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Pharmaceutical Industry, With A Focus On Drug Development. This Includes Experience In Leading And Managing Global Clinical Programs, As Well As A Track Record Of Successful Product Launches.

  • Strong Leadership And Strategic Skills: As A Global Program Head, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Scientists And Researchers, As Well As Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams Across Different Regions.
