  1. Develop and implement transfer pricing strategies for a global organization in compliance with international tax laws and regulations.
  2. Oversee all aspects of transfer pricing, including documentation, analysis, and planning.
  3. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in all relevant jurisdictions.
  4. Maximize operational efficiencies through effective transfer pricing strategies.
  5. Monitor and analyze changes in international tax laws and regulations, and make necessary adjustments to transfer pricing strategies.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and tax departments, to implement transfer pricing strategies.
  7. Conduct transfer pricing audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  8. Provide guidance and support to regional transfer pricing teams.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external advisors and tax authorities.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in transfer pricing.
  11. Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior management on transfer pricing strategies and results.
  12. Lead and mentor a team of transfer pricing professionals.
  13. Ensure accurate and timely transfer pricing documentation and reporting.
  14. Participate in cross-border transactions and M&A activities, providing transfer pricing expertise and support.
  15. Identify and mitigate potential transfer pricing risks for the organization.
  16. Collaborate with other departments to ensure transfer pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.
  17. Continuously evaluate and improve transfer pricing processes and procedures.
  18. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial and tax information.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Transfer Pricing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background And Proven Track Record In Transfer Pricing, With A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience. This Includes Experience In Transfer Pricing Planning, Documentation, And Audit Defense.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Tax Laws And Regulations: A Director Of Transfer Pricing At Novartis Must Possess A Deep Understanding Of International Tax Laws And Regulations, As Well As A Working Knowledge Of Transfer Pricing Guidelines Set By Organizations Such As The Oecd.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Key Member Of The Tax Team, The Director Of Transfer Pricing Will Be Responsible For Developing And Implementing Transfer Pricing Strategies That Align With The Company's Overall Tax Objectives. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical And Strategic Thinking Skills To Effectively Address Complex Transfer Pricing Challenges.

  • Leadership And Team Management Experience: The Director Of Transfer Pricing Will Be Leading A Team Of Transfer Pricing Professionals And Collaborating With Other Tax And Finance Teams Within The Company. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills Are Essential For This Role.
