  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for corporate giving, matching, and volunteering programs in alignment with Novartis' overall philanthropic goals.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate potential community partnerships and charitable organizations to support.
  3. Create and manage budgets for giving, matching, and volunteering programs, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  4. Lead and inspire a team of professionals to execute philanthropic initiatives and achieve desired outcomes.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, community leaders, and nonprofit organizations.
  6. Oversee the administration and evaluation of Novartis' employee matching gift program.
  7. Develop and implement volunteer engagement strategies to increase employee participation and impact in the community.
  8. Monitor and report on the impact and effectiveness of philanthropic initiatives, including measuring return on investment.
  9. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in corporate philanthropy to continuously improve Novartis' giving, matching, and volunteering programs.
  10. Comply with all legal and ethical standards related to corporate giving, matching, and volunteering activities.
  11. Act as a brand ambassador for Novartis, promoting the company's commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
  12. Represent Novartis at philanthropic events and conferences, cultivating relationships and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
  13. Foster a culture of philanthropy and volunteerism within the company, encouraging employees to give back and make a positive impact in their communities.
  14. Handle any issues or concerns related to giving, matching, and volunteering programs in a timely and professional manner.
  15. Continuously evaluate and adapt Novartis' philanthropic initiatives to ensure they align with the company's values and mission.

  • Strategic Thinking And Planning Skills: As The Director Of Giving, Matching & Volunteering, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Setting The Overall Strategic Direction Of Novartis' Philanthropic Initiatives. Therefore, They Should Possess Excellent Strategic Thinking And Planning Skills, With The Ability To Develop Clear And Measurable Goals, And Create A Roadmap For Achieving Them.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Abilities: This Role Will Involve Managing A Team Of Professionals, Overseeing Multiple Programs, And Collaborating With Various Stakeholders Across The Organization. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership Skills, Be Able To Inspire And Motivate Their Team, And Have The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Others To Achieve Common Goals.
