  1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Novartis' accounting policies and procedures.
  2. Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  3. Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals, providing training and development opportunities to promote growth and excellence.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial data.
  5. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues, providing recommendations for improvement.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls related to financial reporting.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies.
  8. Continuously evaluate and improve the record to report accounting and reporting processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in accounting and financial reporting.
  10. Communicate and present financial information to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Accounting And Financial Reporting, Preferably In A Multinational Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Company.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Us Gaap And Ifrs, As Well As Experience With Financial Statement Preparation And Analysis.

  • Previous Experience Managing A Team And Leading Cross-Functional Projects.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
