Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical development programs at Novartis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, medical affairs, and marketing, to ensure diversity and representation in clinical trials.
- Facilitate the review and analysis of clinical trial data to identify potential disparities and work towards solutions that promote diversity and inclusion.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on diversity and inclusion principles and best practices in the healthcare industry.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and stakeholders to support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to teams involved in the design, execution, and analysis of clinical trials to ensure diversity and inclusion are prioritized.
- Develop and deliver training programs on diversity, equity, and inclusion for internal teams to increase awareness and understanding.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of diversity and inclusion initiatives on clinical development programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in diversity and inclusion to continuously enhance strategies and approaches.
- Represent Novartis at conferences, events, and other external forums to share knowledge and best practices on diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical development.
- Collaborate with HR and talent acquisition teams to ensure diversity and inclusion are prioritized in recruitment and retention efforts.
- Create and maintain reports and metrics to track progress and communicate results to senior leadership.
- Serve as a thought leader and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion within Novartis and the broader healthcare industry.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals to support diversity and inclusion initiatives and drive positive change within the organization.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at Novartis.
Relevant Education And Experience: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion, Or Related Field Is Required. Previous Experience In Clinical Development Or Pharmaceutical Industry Is Preferred.
