  1. Develop and implement strategies to ensure timely and affordable access to Novartis medicines for patients.
  2. Lead a team responsible for managing reimbursement and market access for Novartis products.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute brand-specific access and reimbursement plans.
  4. Monitor and analyze market access trends and changes in healthcare policies and regulations to inform business decisions.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including payers, providers, and patient advocacy groups.
  6. Develop and manage budgets for access and reimbursement initiatives.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  8. Serve as a subject matter expert on access and reimbursement issues, providing guidance and support to internal teams.
  9. Identify and pursue opportunities for innovative pricing and reimbursement strategies.
  10. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to access and reimbursement.
  11. Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders on access and reimbursement topics.
  12. Participate in industry conferences and events to stay current on access and reimbursement trends and best practices.
  13. Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  14. Collaborate with global teams to share best practices and drive consistency in access and reimbursement strategies.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Reimbursement And Access Strategy, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Laws And Regulations, Including Medicare, Medicaid, And Private Payer Systems

  • Proven Leadership Skills And Ability To Manage And Develop A Team

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders In The Healthcare Industry.
