  1. Diagnose and treat patients with movement disorders, such as Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, and dystonia.
  2. Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' symptoms and medical history.
  3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient, utilizing the latest research and techniques in the field of movement disorders.
  4. Monitor and track patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  6. Stay current with advancements in the field of movement disorders, attending conferences and continuing education opportunities.
  7. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their condition and treatment options.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient.
  9. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of patient care.
  10. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and protocols.
  11. Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals within the organization to provide coordinated care for patients.
  12. Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  13. Act as a representative of Novant Health and uphold the organization's mission, vision, and values.
  14. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  15. Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency while providing quality care to patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification In Neurology With A Subspecialty In Movement Disorders.

  • At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Diagnosing And Treating Patients With Movement Disorders, Including Parkinson's Disease, Essential Tremor, Dystonia, And Ataxia.

  • Proven Track Record Of Managing A High-Volume Patient Load And Maintaining A High Level Of Patient Satisfaction.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Interdisciplinary Teams, Including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, And Speech Therapists.

  • Current Knowledge Of The Latest Advancements In Movement Disorders Treatment And Willingness To Participate In Research And Clinical Trials.
