
Tele-Sitter Monitor Technician

- Monitor patient activity and safety through video surveillance and alert healthcare staff of any changes or concerns.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment, including tele-sitter monitors and alarms.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure proper care and support.
- Remain vigilant and attentive at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
- Document patient observations and activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Notify appropriate healthcare staff of any emergency or urgent situations.
- Provide comfort and reassurance to patients during their stay.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and efficient care.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Tele-Sitter Monitor Technician At Novant Health Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Math, Science, And Computer Skills.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: A Cna Certification Is Highly Preferred For This Role As It Demonstrates The Candidate's Knowledge And Experience In Patient Care. It Also Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Patient Safety Protocols.
Experience In Healthcare Or Customer Service: Previous Experience In Healthcare Or Customer Service Roles Is A Plus For A Tele-Sitter Monitor Technician Position. This Shows That The Candidate Has Experience Working In A Fast-Paced Environment, Handling Multiple Tasks, And Providing Excellent Customer Service.
