- Perform surgical procedures for the treatment of various types of cancer, including but not limited to: mastectomy, lumpectomy, lymph node dissection, and tumor removal.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as medical oncologists and radiation oncologists, to create comprehensive treatment plans for cancer patients.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and techniques in surgical oncology, and incorporate them into practice as appropriate.
- Develop strong relationships with patients and their families, providing compassionate and personalized care throughout their cancer journey.
- Educate patients on their diagnosis, treatment options, and potential risks and benefits of procedures.
- Ensure all surgical procedures are performed safely and effectively, adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Conduct pre-operative consultations and post-operative follow-up appointments to monitor patient progress and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records for all patients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and conferences to discuss patient cases and collaborate on treatment plans.
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and research studies within the Surgical Oncology department.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards related to patient care and medical practice.
- Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes through ongoing education and training.
- Assist in the training and supervision of medical residents and fellows, as applicable.
- Contribute to the overall success and growth of the Surgical Oncology department through active participation in meetings, committees, and other initiatives.

Board Certification In Surgical Oncology: This Qualification Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise And Proficiency In The Field Of Surgical Oncology, Ensuring That The Candidate Is Well-Equipped To Handle Complex Cases And Provide The Best Possible Care To Patients.
Extensive Experience In Surgical Oncology: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Surgical Oncology, With A Strong Track Record Of Successful Surgeries And Positive Patient Outcomes.
