- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the pharmacy department, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality pharmaceutical services and patient safety.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels and order necessary medications and supplies.
- Train and supervise pharmacy staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Handle and resolve any patient or staff concerns or complaints related to pharmacy services.
- Stay current with industry developments and trends, and make recommendations for process improvements to enhance the department’s performance.
- Participate in meetings and committees related to pharmacy operations and patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records and documentation.
- Assist in budget planning and management for the pharmacy department.

Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or A Related Field Is Required For A Supervisor Pharmacy Position At Novant Health. This Education Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Manage A Pharmacy Department And Ensure High-Quality Patient Care.
Current Pharmacy License: A Current, Valid Pharmacy License Is A Must-Have Qualification For A Supervisor Pharmacy Position At Novant Health. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Knowledgeable About State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Pharmacy Practice.
