  1. Lead a team of patient relationship staff members and ensure they are providing excellent care and service to patients.
  2. Create and implement training programs to ensure staff members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional patient care.
  3. Foster a positive and supportive work environment for staff members to promote job satisfaction and retention.
  4. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the patient relationship department, including scheduling, staffing, and budgeting.
  5. Maintain open and effective communication with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and positive patient experience.
  6. Resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise within the patient relationship department.
  7. Monitor patient satisfaction and implement strategies to improve patient experience and overall satisfaction.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in patient care to continuously improve the department's operations.
  9. Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and laws to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  10. Serve as a role model for staff members by demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and empathy towards patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication Skills: A Supervisor Patient Relationship At Novant Health Must Possess Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Healthcare Team Members. This Includes Active Listening, Empathetic Communication, And Clear And Concise Delivery Of Information.

  • Leadership Experience: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Previous Experience In A Leadership Or Supervisory Position. They Should Be Able To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team, Establish Goals And Expectations, And Provide Guidance And Support To Team Members.

  • Customer Service Orientation: Novant Health Places A Strong Emphasis On Providing Exceptional Customer Service To Patients And Their Families. A Supervisor Patient Relationship Should Have A Customer Service Mindset, Be Able To Handle Difficult Situations With Grace And Professionalism, And Strive To Constantly Improve The Patient Experience.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations: It Is Essential For A Supervisor Patient Relationship To Have A Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations, Including Hipaa, Patient Rights And Responsibilities, And Safety Protocols. This Knowledge Will Ensure That All Interactions With Patients Are Compliant And Ethical.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: In Any Healthcare Setting, Unexpected Challenges And Issues Can Arise. A Supervisor Patient Relationship Must Be Able To Think Quickly On Their Feet, Identify Problems And Find Solutions, And Be Adaptable To Changing Situations.
