Job Qualifications
  • Certification: Possession Of A Nationally Recognized Sterile Processing Certification, Such As The Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Or The Certified Sterile Processing And Distribution Technician (Cspdt), Is A Requirement For This Job.

  • Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Sterile Processing Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting, Is Preferred For This Position.

  • Knowledge Of Sterilization Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Different Sterilization Techniques, Including Steam, Ethylene Oxide, And Hydrogen Peroxide Gas Plasma.

  • Attention To Detail: The Role Of A Sterile Processing Tech Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Instruments And Equipment Are Properly Cleaned, Sterilized, And Maintained.

  • Communication Skills: Strong Communication Skills Are Essential For This Job As The Sterile Processing Tech Will Be Required To Work Closely With Other Healthcare Professionals, Including Surgeons, Nurses, And Supply Chain Staff.
