  1. Manage and coordinate the sterilization and processing of medical equipment and supplies in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Develop and implement procedures and protocols for the efficient and safe handling of medical equipment and supplies.
  3. Train and supervise a team of sterile processing technicians to ensure proper handling and processing of medical equipment.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of sterile supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate supply for patient care needs.
  5. Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure all equipment and supplies are properly sterilized and free of defects.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of sterile equipment and supplies to patient care areas.
  7. Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes, and make recommendations for process improvements.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the sterilization and processing of medical equipment and supplies.
  9. Maintain accurate documentation and records of all sterilization and processing activities.
  10. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and standards to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
  11. Foster a safe and efficient work environment for sterile processing staff.
  12. Assist in budgeting and purchasing of equipment and supplies needed for the sterile processing department.
  13. Attend and participate in trainings and workshops to continuously improve skills and knowledge in sterile processing.
  14. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote best practices and maintain a high level of quality in sterile processing.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines, to maintain a compliant and ethical work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Sterile Processing Or Related Field

  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Or Certified Sterile Processing And Distribution Technician (Cspdt) Certification

  • Knowledge Of Sterilization Techniques, Infection Control Practices, And Medical Terminology

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks Simultaneously

  • Effective Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With Interdisciplinary Teams.
