In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring our facility is properly staffed with skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals.   1. Schedule and coordinate staffing needs for the facility, including all shifts and departments.
  2. Monitor and maintain accurate staffing levels to ensure the facility is adequately staffed at all times.
  3. Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and make necessary adjustments to schedules.
  4. Maintain up-to-date records of staff availability, vacation time, and other scheduling requests.
  5. Utilize scheduling software to create and manage employee schedules, ensuring fair and equitable distribution of shifts.
  6. Proactively identify and address any staffing gaps or issues that may arise.
  7. Communicate effectively with staff regarding changes to their schedules, ensuring transparency and understanding.
  8. Ensure compliance with all staffing-related policies and procedures.
  9. Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members as needed.
  10. Monitor and track staff attendance and time-off requests.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations related to staffing.
  12. Keep accurate and detailed records of staffing-related data for reporting and analysis.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to staffing and scheduling.
  14. Act as a liaison between management and staff, addressing any concerns or conflicts that may arise.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Novant Health to staff and external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Staffing, Recruitment, Or Human Resources.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Hiring Managers And Candidates.

  • Strong Organizational And Time-Management Abilities, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Priorities And Meet Tight Deadlines.
