Sr Director Spiritual Care

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the spiritual care services at Novant Health facilities.
2. Lead and guide a team of spiritual care providers, including chaplains and volunteers.
3. Develop and implement policies and procedures for spiritual care services in accordance with the organization's mission and values.
4. Provide spiritual care and support to patients and their families during challenging times.
5. Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with local faith-based organizations and community resources.
7. Provide guidance and training to staff on various faith traditions and spiritual practices.
8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to spiritual care services.
9. Develop and manage budget for spiritual care services.
10. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes for the organization.
11. Stay current on trends and best practices in spiritual care and incorporate them into the organization's services.
12. Foster a culture of compassion, empathy, and inclusivity within the spiritual care team.
13. Collaborate with other departments to integrate spiritual care into overall patient care and support initiatives.
14. Serve as a liaison between spiritual care services and other departments within the organization.
15. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness and quality of spiritual care services.
