  1. Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams on patients according to established protocols and procedures.
  2. Review patient medical history and ensure proper positioning for accurate imaging.
  3. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding throughout the exam.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  7. Ensure all necessary documentation and images are accurately uploaded and stored in the electronic medical record.
  8. Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
  9. Participate in training and continuing education to stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
  10. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  11. Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
  14. Attend meetings and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification In Diagnostic Medical Sonography: The Candidate Must Have A Certification In Diagnostic Medical Sonography From An Accredited Institution, Demonstrating Proficiency In Abdominal, Gynecological, And Obstetrical Sonography.

  • Experience In Obstetric And Gynecological Sonography: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Performing Obstetric And Gynecological Sonograms, Including Transvaginal And Transabdominal Scans.

  • Knowledge Of Ultrasound Equipment And Technology: The Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Ultrasound Equipment, Including 3D And 4D Imaging, And Be Able To Troubleshoot Technical Issues As Needed.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Sonographers Interact With Patients On A Daily Basis, And Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential. The Candidate Should Be Able To Explain Procedures To Patients And Answer Any Questions They May Have.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy: Sonographers Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail And Be Able To Accurately Interpret Images To Assist In Patient Diagnoses. The Candidate Should Also Possess The Ability To Recognize Abnormalities And Report Them To The Appropriate Physician.
