Appropriate Education And Certification: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography, As Well As Current Certification From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).
Knowledge Of Sonography Principles And Equipment: Strong Understanding Of Ultrasound Technology And Its Applications, As Well As Proficient Operation Of Ultrasound Equipment.
Clinical Experience: Prior Experience Working As A Sonographer In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Medical Center.
Interpersonal And Communication Skills: Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals, As Well As Strong Interpersonal Skills To Build Rapport With Patients.
