- Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients, utilizing advanced clinical knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and efficient care.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in respiratory care.
- Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that their needs and preferences are met throughout their treatment.
- Collaborate with other respiratory therapists and assist in training and mentoring new team members.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of job performance.
Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field.
Active And Unrestricted Respiratory Therapist License In The State Of Employment.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Respiratory Therapist.
Advanced Certifications Such As Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) Or Certified Respiratory Therapist (Crt).
Strong Knowledge Of Respiratory Therapy Procedures And Equipment, Including Mechanical Ventilation And Airway Management.
