Registered Nurse, RN- Special Maternity Care

1. Provide exceptional healthcare services to patients in the Special Maternity Care unit.
2. Utilize nursing skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care to new mothers and their babies.
3. Monitor patient health and well-being, identifying and addressing any changes or concerns.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
5. Educate patients and their families about postpartum care, newborn care, and breastfeeding techniques.
6. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
8. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients.
9. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during the childbirth process.
10. Continuously assess and improve upon nursing practice through ongoing education and professional development.
11. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
12. Serve as an advocate for patients' rights and needs.
13. Communicate effectively and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
14. Stay up-to-date with changes and advancements in the field of maternity care.
15. Display a positive and compassionate attitude towards patients, colleagues, and visitors at all times.
