- Provide high-quality care to expectant mothers and their newborns in the LDRP unit.
- Utilize strong background in LDRP nursing to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills to provide prompt and appropriate interventions in emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure a safe and comfortable delivery experience.
- Monitor and assist with labor progress, administer medications, and provide education and support to mothers during delivery.
- Assess and care for newborns, providing necessary treatments and interventions.
- Promote and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and their families.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and keep up-to-date with current nursing practices and techniques.
- Demonstrate compassion and empathy in all interactions with patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Act as a resource for other healthcare team members and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications.
Strong Communication, Critical Thinking, And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Current, Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Labor And Delivery, Postpartum, And/Or Neonatal Care.
