1. Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular surgery procedures in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
2. Utilize advanced clinical knowledge and skills to assess and monitor the patient's condition during surgery.
3. Administer medications and other treatments as prescribed by the physician.
4. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
5. Monitor and maintain sterile techniques and aseptic practices in the operating room.
6. Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
7. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support regarding their care.
8. Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
9. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
10. Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
