- Provide personalized and compassionate care to patients on the Inpatient Rehabilitation team at Novant Health.
- Monitor and assess patients' physical and emotional well-being, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and ensure accuracy and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques to promote optimal recovery.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation, and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and address potential patient care issues.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Serve as a patient advocate, promoting their rights and ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, supporting and assisting team members as needed.
Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid Rn License From The State Of Employment.
Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree: A Bsn Degree Is Preferred And May Be Required For Certain Positions Within The Inpatient Rehabilitation Department.
Clinical Experience: The Candidate Must Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In An Acute Care Setting, Preferably In Rehabilitation.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced Environment.
