
Registered Nurse - Infusion Services Clinic

- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients receiving infusion therapy.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care for patients.
- Assess and monitor patients' health status and response to treatment, making necessary adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care measures.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are considered in their care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in infusion therapy.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during their treatment.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment for infusion therapy.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, related to patient care and safety.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with patients, their families, and colleagues.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the Infusion Services Clinic.
- Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction through quality improvement initiatives.
Valid Rn License: The Individual Must Possess A Valid And Current Rn License In The State Where The Clinic Is Located.
Infusion Therapy Experience: The Candidate Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In Providing Infusion Therapy In A Clinical Setting.
Advanced Certification: A Certification In Infusion Nursing, Such As Crni (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion), Is Preferred.
Strong Clinical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Infusion Therapy Protocols, Medication Administration, And Patient Assessment.
Communication And Teamwork: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals, As Well As Work Collaboratively In A Team-Based Environment, Is Essential For This Role.
