Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health

Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care and assessments in a behavioral health setting. • Develop individualized care plans for each patient and monitor their progress. • Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols. • Maintain accurate and complete medical records and documentation. • Communicate patient care information accurately and in a timely manner to other healthcare team members. • Educate patients and families about mental health principles and treatments. • Promote a positive patient experience and maintain a safe, comfortable environment. • Assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. • Monitor patient vital signs, progress, and response to treatments and medications. • Remain up-to-date with current standards of care and regulatory requirements. • Respond to patient emergencies in a timely and effective manner. • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
