Radiology Technologist - Urology Clinic NHMG

1. Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures: Perform x-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other imaging procedures as needed, following all safety protocols and ensuring high-quality images are obtained.
2. Maintain equipment: Ensure all radiology equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
3. Ensure patient safety and comfort: Properly position patients and use radiation protection measures to ensure their safety. Communicate with patients to alleviate any fears or concerns and provide a comfortable and positive experience.
4. Collaborate with healthcare team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging services. Communicate any concerns or abnormalities to the appropriate healthcare provider.
5. Follow established protocols and procedures: Adhere to all policies, procedures, and protocols set by the healthcare facility and regulatory agencies to maintain compliance and ensure quality patient care.
6. Maintain accurate records: Document all imaging procedures and patient information accurately and timely. Keep patient records confidential and secure.
7. Stay updated on new technology and techniques: Attend trainings and workshops to stay current on advancements in radiology technology and techniques. Implement new techniques as appropriate to improve patient care and outcomes.
8. Provide exceptional patient care: Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and excellent communication skills when interacting with patients. Address any patient concerns or questions and provide education regarding imaging procedures when necessary.
9. Ensure a clean and safe work environment: Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Follow infection control procedures to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a sterile environment.
10. Contribute to a positive team culture: Foster a positive and supportive work environment by collaborating with colleagues, providing assistance when needed, and maintaining a positive attitude.
