  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the MRI services at Novant Health, including scheduling, staffing, and equipment maintenance.
  2. Ensure that all MRI procedures and protocols adhere to industry standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the safe and efficient operation of the MRI department.
  4. Hire, train, and supervise a team of qualified MRI technologists, providing ongoing support and performance evaluations.
  5. Collaborate with other department managers and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of necessary supplies and equipment, and make purchase recommendations as needed.
  7. Ensure that all imaging equipment is properly calibrated and maintained for accurate and high-quality imaging results.
  8. Stay up-to-date on advancements in MRI technology and make recommendations for the acquisition of new equipment or software.
  9. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or complaints.
  10. Monitor and analyze departmental performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
  11. Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure a knowledgeable and skilled team.
  12. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  13. Act as a liaison between the MRI department and other departments within the healthcare facility to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  14. Participate in budget planning and management for the MRI department, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial goals.
  15. Continuously promote a positive and professional work environment, fostering teamwork, respect, and open communication among staff members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field.

  • Current Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Mri.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within An Mri Department.

  • Strong Working Knowledge Of Mri Equipment And Procedures, Including Safety Protocols And Quality Control Measures.

  • Experience With Budget Management, Staff Scheduling, And Performance Management.
