  1. Provide high-quality and compassionate medical care to patients within the hospital setting.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care.
  4. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  5. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards while providing medical care.
  6. Continuously update and expand medical knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Medical License: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid And Unrestricted Medical License To Practice As A Physician In The State Where The Hospital Is Located.

  • Board Certification: The Candidate Must Be Board Certified In Internal Medicine Or Family Medicine, With Current Certification From The American Board Of Internal Medicine Or The American Board Of Family Medicine.

  • Relevant Experience: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Hospitalist, With A Strong Background In Managing Acute And Complex Medical Conditions In A Hospital Setting.

  • Availability: The Candidate Must Be Available For Prn (As Needed) Shifts, Including Weekends And Holidays. This May Also Include Being On-Call And Providing Coverage For Unexpected Absences Or Fluctuations In Patient Volume.

  • Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment. Hospitalists At Novant Health Are Expected To Collaborate With Other Physicians, Nurses, And Healthcare Professionals To Provide High-Quality Patient Care.
