1. Provide exceptional physical therapy services to patients in the Acute Care department, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
2. Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, taking into account their specific needs and goals.
3. Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and exercises to help patients regain mobility, strength, and function.
4. Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve the best possible results.
6. Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for self-care and home exercises to continue progress outside of therapy sessions.
7. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the practice of physical therapy.
8. Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in physical therapy and incorporate new techniques and technologies into practice.
9. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
10. Demonstrate a compassionate and caring demeanor towards patients and their families, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for recovery.
11. Actively participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
12. Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.
13. Represent Novant Health in a professional and positive manner at all times.
14. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes through quality care and efficient treatment.
15. Fulfill any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by superiors.
