- Provide exceptional physical therapy services to patients in the Acute Care department, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, taking into account their specific needs and goals.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and exercises to help patients regain mobility, strength, and function.
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve the best possible results.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for self-care and home exercises to continue progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the practice of physical therapy.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in physical therapy and incorporate new techniques and technologies into practice.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
- Demonstrate a compassionate and caring demeanor towards patients and their families, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for recovery.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.
- Represent Novant Health in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes through quality care and efficient treatment.
- Fulfill any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by superiors.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Institution
Current State Licensure As A Physical Therapist
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Acute Care Setting
Strong Knowledge Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Rehabilitation Techniques
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Working With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Healthcare Teams
