  12. Follow proper procedures for specimen handling, transportation, and storage.
  13. Assist with training and mentoring new Phlebotomy Technicians as needed.
  14. Remain up-to-date on all phlebotomy techniques, procedures, and equipment.
  15. Display a strong commitment to quality care and continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Phlebotomy Technician I Must Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Be Considered For The Position. This Shows That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Can Follow Instructions And Procedures.

  • Phlebotomy Certification: A Phlebotomy Technician I Must Be Certified As A Phlebotomist By A Recognized Organization Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or The National Phlebotomy Association (Npa).
