- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and assist with maintaining accreditation standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Handle and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during phlebotomy procedures.
- Attend training and educational sessions to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of phlebotomy supplies and equipment.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Cpt) Or Registered Phlebotomy Technician (Rpt) Credential From A Recognized Accrediting Agency Such As The National Healthcareer Association (Nha) Or American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp).
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As A Phlebotomist In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinic Environment.
Knowledge Of Basic Anatomy And Physiology, As Well As Medical Terminology Related To Phlebotomy Procedures.
Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Laboratory Staff.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Follow Strict Protocols And Procedures To Ensure Accurate And Safe Collection And Handling Of Specimens.
