- Collect and process blood specimens from patients with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure the safety and quality of specimens.
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Adhere to all lab policies and procedures to maintain quality assurance and compliance.

Completion Of An Accredited Phlebotomy Program: Candidates For A Phlebotomy Technician Job At Novant Health Must Have Completed An Accredited Phlebotomy Program, Providing Them With The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform The Job Duties.
Current Certification As A Phlebotomy Technician: Candidates Must Hold A Current Certification As A Phlebotomy Technician From A Recognized Certification Agency, Such As The American Society Of Phlebotomy Technicians (Aspt) Or The National Phlebotomy Association (Npa).
Knowledge Of Phlebotomy Procedures And Techniques: Applicants Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Phlebotomy Procedures, Including Venipuncture, Capillary Puncture, And Specimen Collection And Handling.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills: As Phlebotomy Technicians Interact With Patients On A Daily Basis, Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential For Providing A Positive Patient Experience.
