  1. Provide pharmaceutical services to patients in a non-traditional healthcare setting.
  2. Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
  3. Maintain accurate and complete patient medication records.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.
  5. Monitor medication inventory and assist in ordering and restocking medications.
  6. Follow all relevant laws, regulations, and protocols related to medication handling and administration.
  7. Educate patients on proper use and storage of medications.
  8. Assist in the management of medication-related issues and inquiries from patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of expired medications.
  10. Continuously update knowledge and skills related to the pharmacy field.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  12. Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures.
  13. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  14. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  15. Train and mentor new pharmacy technicians as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) With At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Hospital Pharmacy Operations And Dispensing Procedures, Including Iv Admixture And Compounding.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems And Medication Order Entry.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills, Able To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Professionals And Patients.

  • Ability To Prioritize And Multitask In A Fast-Paced Environment, While Maintaining Accuracy And Attention To Detail.
