  1. Participate in the Novant Health Pharmacy Residency Program (PGY1) and fulfill all requirements set forth by the program.
  2. Work alongside experienced pharmacists and healthcare professionals to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare setting.
  3. Develop clinical skills and knowledge through active participation in patient care, medication management, and drug therapy monitoring.
  4. Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and patient-centered care.
  6. Attend and actively engage in educational seminars, conferences, and other learning opportunities provided by the residency program.
  7. Conduct research and quality improvement projects under the guidance of preceptors.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  9. Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to ethical and legal standards of pharmacy practice.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.
  11. Actively participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize pharmacy services.
  12. Embrace a culture of continuous learning and personal growth, seeking out feedback and guidance from preceptors and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Pharmacy School.

  • Eligibility For Licensure As A Pharmacist In The State Of North Carolina.

  • Strong Clinical Knowledge And Skills, With A Focus On Patient-Centered Care.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Multidisciplinary Team.

  • Prior Experience In A Pharmacy Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Health System Environment.
