1. Provide exceptional nursing care to pediatric patients and their families in accordance with Novant Health's standards and policies.
2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
3. Monitor and assess the physical and emotional well-being of pediatric patients, and communicate any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and ensure accurate documentation of all patient care activities.
5. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive care.
6. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
7. Act as a resource and mentor to other members of the pediatric nursing team, providing guidance and support as needed.
8. Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in pediatric nursing, and participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
9. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve processes and enhance the overall quality of care for pediatric patients.
10. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
