  1. Provide exceptional care to pediatric patients: The primary responsibility of this role is to provide high-quality and personalized care to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
  2. Build strong relationships with patients and their families: The Pediatrician will be expected to establish a strong rapport with patients and their families, fostering a sense of trust and comfort in the medical care being provided.
  3. Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments: The Pediatrician will be responsible for conducting comprehensive physical examinations, evaluating medical histories, and diagnosing illnesses and conditions in pediatric patients.
  4. Develop and implement treatment plans: Based on the medical assessment, the Pediatrician will develop individualized treatment plans for each patient, considering their specific needs and medical history.
  5. Monitor and track patient progress: It is the responsibility of the Pediatrician to monitor the progress of patients, track their medical history, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  6. Educate patients and families about preventive care: As a Pediatrician, you will be expected to educate patients and their families on preventive care measures, including vaccinations, nutrition, and hygiene, to promote overall wellness.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals: The Pediatrician will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and specialists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
  8. Stay updated on medical advancements and best practices: To provide the best care possible, the Pediatrician must stay updated on the latest medical advancements and best practices in pediatric care through continued education and training.
  9. Maintain accurate and timely medical records: The Pediatrician is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures: The Pediatrician must adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety protocols, to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Minimum Of A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School Is Required To Become A Pediatrician.

  • Pediatric Residency: Completion Of A 3-Year Residency Program In Pediatrics From An Accredited Institution Is Necessary To Gain Specialized Training In Caring For Infants, Children, And Adolescents.

  • Board Certification: The Candidate Must Be Board-Certified Or Board-Eligible In Pediatrics By The American Board Of Pediatrics Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Pediatrics.

  • State Medical License: A Valid State Medical License Is Required To Practice Medicine As A Pediatrician. The Candidate Must Have A Current And Unrestricted License To Practice In The State Of North Carolina.

  • Pediatric Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Pediatrician Is Preferred, With A Demonstrated Ability To Provide High-Quality Care To Pediatric Patients And Their Families. Experience In A Hospital Or Clinic Setting Is Also Desirable.
