  1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Schedule and coordinate appointments for patients, including follow-up appointments and referrals.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including personal information, medical history, and insurance information.
  4. Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for procedures and treatments.
  5. Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and forms.
  6. Communicate with patients regarding their appointments, test results, and follow-up care instructions.
  7. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and efficient delivery of patient care.
  8. Provide excellent customer service and address any patient concerns or complaints.
  9. Educate patients on their insurance coverage and assist with billing questions or concerns.
  10. Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment, and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
  11. Train and supervise other patient services coordinators as needed.
  12. Stay updated on industry changes and regulations, and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and streamline processes.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  15. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Patient Services Or Customer Service Role.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Processes, And Hipaa Regulations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Providers.

  • Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment.
