  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  2. Coordinate and schedule appointments, procedures, and tests for patients, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including personal and medical information.
  4. Communicate with patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs, treatment plans, and any necessary follow-up appointments.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure smooth and efficient operation of healthcare services.
  6. Assist with insurance verification, billing, and payment processes to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  7. Educate patients and their families on Novant Health's services, policies, and procedures.
  8. Handle patient complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, escalating to management when necessary.
  9. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  10. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  11. Serve as a role model for excellent customer service, demonstrating empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Stay updated on industry advancements and changes in healthcare policies and procedures.
  14. Collaborate with other departments to improve patient satisfaction and overall quality of care.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Patient Services Or Customer Service.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or Related Field.

  • Proficient In Electronic Medical Records Systems And Microsoft Office.
