1. Greet and welcome patients and their families in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patients' needs and concerns.
3. Guide patients through the registration and scheduling process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
4. Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for services.
5. Collect and enter patient information into electronic health records.
6. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and their families.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow.
8. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines.
9. Assist with financial counseling and provide patients with information on payment options.
10. Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations related to patient access.
11. Keep accurate records of patient interactions and maintain a clean and organized work area.
12. Attend trainings and meetings to stay updated on changes in procedures or regulations.
