1. Conducting gross examination of surgical specimens, including dissection, description, and sampling for further testing.
2. Preparing tissue samples for processing and ensuring accurate labeling and tracking of specimens.
3. Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, including microscopes and tissue processors.
4. Assisting with autopsies, including evisceration, tissue sampling, and documentation.
5. Preparing detailed reports and documenting findings accurately.
6. Communicating and collaborating with pathologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.
