1. Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency calls within the hospital and throughout the community.
2. Assess patient's condition and provide necessary emergency medical treatment, such as administering medication, performing CPR, and using advanced medical equipment.
3. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to gather information and provide updates on patient's condition.
4. Accurately document all patient care activities in accordance with hospital protocols and procedures.
5. Monitor and maintain medical equipment and supplies to ensure they are functioning properly and readily available for use.
6. Remain up-to-date on all emergency medical procedures, protocols, and guidelines to provide the highest level of care to patients.
7. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
8. Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and follow-up procedures.
9. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
10. Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to maintain certification and enhance skills and knowledge.
11. Respond to emergencies and disasters within the hospital and community as needed.
12. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times, especially in high-stress and emotionally charged situations.
13. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.
14. Provide support and assistance to other healthcare professionals as needed.
15. Act as a role model for excellence in patient care and customer service.
