- Assist orthopedic specialists in providing high-quality care to patients.
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for procedures and appointments.
- Take patient vital signs and record medical history.
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and assist in discharge instructions.
- Administer medications and assist with wound care as directed by physicians.
- Perform diagnostic tests under the supervision of orthopedic specialists.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Ensure proper sterilization and sanitation of equipment and instruments.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings.
- Stay updated on current orthopedic techniques and procedures.
- Provide support and assistance to patients and their families during appointments and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
- Perform other duties as assigned by orthopedic specialists or supervisor.
Certified Orthopedic Technician (Cot) Or Orthopedic Technologist (Ot) With A Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Clinical Setting.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Orthopedic Procedures, Terminology, And Equipment.
Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records And Ability To Accurately Document Patient Care.
Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment.
Demonstrated Ability To Prioritize And Multitask In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Work Environment.
