
Orthopedic Physician Assistant - Acute Injuries
Novant Health is currently seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional treatment to patients with acute injuries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team of medical professionals in a leading healthcare organization. The successful candidate will be a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality patient care. As the Orthopedic Physician Assistant, you will provide clinical support to the Orthopedic Surgeon and other members of the Orthopedic Department. To be considered for this position, you must hold a current Physician Assistant license in the state of North Carolina and have a minimum of two years’ experience as a Physician Assistant in an Orthopedic setting. We are also looking for a candidate who is proficient in using electronic health records and has experience in clinical research and/or orthopedic surgery. Additionally, the successful candidate must have the ability to handle a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support to the Orthopedic Surgeon and other members of the Orthopedic Department.
- Maintain a current Physician Assistant license in the state of North Carolina.
- Utilize electronic health records and have experience in clinical research and/or orthopedic surgery.
- Manage a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.
- Provide exceptional treatment to patients with acute injuries.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ensure quality patient care and adhere to professional standards.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Knowledge Of Anatomy And Physiology
Bachelor's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies
Current National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa) Certification
Current State Licensure
At Least Five Years Of Experience As A Physician Assistant
Understanding Of Orthopedic Medicine And Orthopedic Surgical Principles
Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients
Physicians And Other Healthcare Personnel
Proficiency In Electronic Medical Records.
