1. Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients at all times.
2. Collaborate with the surgical team to create and implement individualized care plans for patients.
3. Monitor patients' vital signs and responses to surgical interventions, adjusting care as needed.
4. Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
5. Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating their needs.
6. Administer medications and anesthesia as ordered by the physician.
7. Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, including pre-op and post-op assessments, medication administration, and any complications or changes in patient status.
