Operating Room Assistant Lead

Novant Health is seeking an experienced Operating Room Assistant Lead to join our team and help ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of our Operating Room. We are looking for an organized and motivated team leader with excellent communication and multitasking skills. The successful candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of three years of related experience in a surgical setting, as well as a current certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). They should also have a thorough understanding of medical terminology, the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks, and a demonstrated history of providing excellent customer service. A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment is also essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the Operating Room
2. Act as a team leader with excellent communication and multitasking skills
3. Provide exceptional patient care and ensure adherence to the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction
4. Maintain a minimum of three years of related experience in a surgical setting
