
Occupational Therapist - Outpatient Float

- Conduct patient evaluations to assess their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in an outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on the goals and benefits of occupational therapy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of care.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in occupational therapy.
- Flexibility to work in multiple outpatient settings, including clinics, hospitals, and home health.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare staff.
- Continuously strive to provide exceptional care and support to patients and the community.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Attend training and professional development opportunities as required.
- Collaborate with insurance companies and other third-party payers to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare staff.
- Comply with all Novant Health policies and procedures.
- Represent Novant Health in a positive manner at all times.
- Demonstrate commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited Program.
Current State Licensure As An Occupational Therapist.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Outpatient Setting.
Experience Working With A Diverse Patient Population And A Variety Of Diagnoses.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team To Provide Comprehensive Care To Patients.
