  1. Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients in accordance with Novant Health standards and protocols.
  2. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  3. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical exams and medical history reviews, to accurately diagnose and treat medical conditions.
  4. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures as needed.
  5. Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures.
  6. Monitor and document patient progress, including any changes in symptoms or response to treatment.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
  8. Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  9. Participate in ongoing education and professional development to continuously improve clinical skills and stay current with healthcare trends and advancements.
  10. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure high standards of care.
  11. Act as a patient advocate and ensure that patient rights and confidentiality are respected at all times.
  12. Adhere to Novant Health’s policies and procedures and uphold ethical standards of practice.
  13. Provide leadership and guidance to other healthcare team members, including nurses, medical assistants, and support staff.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve patient satisfaction and actively address any concerns or complaints.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing (Msn) Or Doctor Of Nursing Practice (Dnp) From An Accredited Program.

  • Current And Unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Aprn) Licensure In The State Of Employment.

  • Certification As A Nurse Practitioner By A Recognized National Certifying Body (E.g. Aanp, Ancc).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In Primary Care Or A Specialty Area.

  • Strong Clinical Skills, Including The Ability To Assess, Diagnose, And Treat Patients, As Well As Order And Interpret Diagnostic Tests.
