- Perform nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in nuclear medicine imaging.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients as directed by a physician.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and provide appropriate care as needed.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Review and analyze images to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Communicate with patients and their families to explain procedures and answer any questions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Continuously stay updated on advances in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Train and supervise other nuclear medicine technologists as needed.

Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field
Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Nuclear Medicine
Current State Licensure As A Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility
Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Nuclear Medicine Equipment, As Well As Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Protocols And Procedures
