  1. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  2. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
  3. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, following strict safety protocols.
  4. Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  5. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of imaging results.
  6. Document and maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
  7. Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to protect patients and staff.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with infection control policies.
  9. Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.
  10. Provide excellent patient care, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for all patients.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  12. Demonstrate a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology to accurately interpret imaging results.
  13. Follow established quality assurance and quality control procedures to maintain the highest level of accuracy and precision in imaging.
  14. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
  15. Act as a mentor and resource for other staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  16. Participate in departmental meetings and initiatives to improve processes and patient care.
  17. Maintain a professional and positive attitude, representing the organization in a professional manner at all times.
  18. Maintain all required licensure and certification, staying up-to-date on any changes or updates.
  19. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, promoting a safe and respectful work environment.
  20. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors or department leaders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Program.

  • Certification By The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb) Or American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Current Licensure As A Nuclear Medicine Technologist In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting Preferred.

  • Proficient In Operating And Troubleshooting Nuclear Medicine Equipment And Software, As Well As Administering Radiopharmaceuticals And Performing Diagnostic Imaging Procedures.
